APPLICATIONS
For cleaning and brightening air cooled condensers and other finned heating and cooling coils located outside. It is an alkaline based cleaner that does all that old acid-based products could do – while a little less dangerous. Nu-Brite’s state-of-the-art surfactants and cleaners instantly penetrate and lift layers of oily grime and corrosive deposits from the coil. Its foaming action pushes this loosened debris out of hard-to-reach areas restoring equipment to peak efficiency. It is not recommended for indoor use, coated fin or micro-channel coils.

• A non-acid, alkaline-based product for cleaning and brightening air cooled condensers. It is formulated with the best available foaming detergents and chelants to quickly penetrate and dissolve greasy dirt and grime and foam it right out of the coil. The safer alternative to acids. Nu-Brite 4X is a concentrate version available in a ready-to-use quart bottle. One concentrate quart equals one gallon traditional Nu-Brite (at 4:1 dilution use). Nu-Brite 4X takes less space on truck, is easy to carry on roofs, and has cleaner connecting – no more pouring or spilling. The specially developed packaging has a dilution insert assembly; simply use what is needed, cap bottle and use for another job. The product ships as a limited quantity –easier to get to the job site. Nu-Brite 4x requires the Clean Connect Sprayer. See product bulletin 3-447 for details. Traditional formula is available in various package sizes.
• Nu-Brite Ultra Concentrate delivers the heavy-duty performance of our Nu-Brite product in an ultra-concentrate form. The ultra-concentrate quart reduces space and weight by 75% when storing or using Nu-Brite Ultra. Nu-Brite Ultra Concentrate can be mixed traditionally or used with Nu-Calgon’s Coil Gun at a 10:1 (setting E) dilution.
DIRECTIONS
• Use only on condenser coils; not recommended for coated fin or micro-channel coils. When located on roof, determine roof material compatibility – consult Nu-Calgon with questions.
• Goggles, gloves and other protective garments should be worn when using this product. System must be shut off.
• For the traditional packages, use the popular Nu-Calgon Coil
• Gun (product bulletin 3-454) or Nu-Calgon 100P, 200P, 300P or 220CP low pressure plastic sprayers. For the Nu-Brite 4X, use the Nu-Calgon Clean Connect Sprayer. See product bulletin 3-447 for details.
• For Nu-Brite Ultra Concentrate, always dilute the product according to the label specifications and based on your application. When using Nu-Calgon’s Coil Gun, it is important to always select a 10:1(setting E) for heavy soil applications.
• Nu-Brite Ultra Concentrate is not compatible with Nu-Calgon’s clean connect sprayer.
• For low pressure sprayers, prepare cleaning solution by mixing one part Nu-Brite with four parts of water. Add the water to the sprayer first, then add the cleaner. If using the No. 200P, you will add the Nu-Brite first.
• Spray cleaning solution onto dirty coils or surfaces and allow it to remain in contact with the dirty surfaces for 5-10 minutes.
• Rinse thoroughly with water and apply a coating of Cal-Shield ®, the coil protector based on a fluorinated formula designed to protect surfaces. Then return the system to service.
• For all sprayer types, thoroughly rinse device with water for longest service life.
